HomeMy WebLinkAbout3853_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 3853 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does resolve as fol- lows : SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chap- ter 2 , of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate a portion of a street in the manner provided therein. SECTION TWO : The City Council does hereby declare its inten- tion to order the vacation of a portion of Industrial Park Avenue described in the attached Exhibit "A. " SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that a portion of Industrial Park Avenue is unimproved and is excess right- of-way; therefore the vacation of the portion of Industrial Park Avenue described above is required by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare. SECTION FOUR: The reap setting the particulars of the proposed street vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and place of public hearing on the street closing at 7 : 00 P.M. on the 7th day of December, 1982 , in the regular meeting place of the City Council, Redlands, California.
