RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION
OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does resolve as fol-
lows :
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chap-
ter 2 , of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California
and to vacate a portion of a street in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO : The City Council does hereby declare its inten-
tion to order the vacation of a portion of Industrial Park Avenue
described in the attached Exhibit "A. "
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that a
portion of Industrial Park Avenue is unimproved and is excess right-
of-way; therefore the vacation of the portion of Industrial Park
Avenue described above is required by public interest, convenience,
safety and welfare.
SECTION FOUR: The reap setting the particulars of the proposed
street vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of
Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested in
or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date
and place of public hearing on the street closing at 7 : 00 P.M. on
the 7th day of December, 1982 , in the regular meeting place of the
City Council, Redlands, California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 16th day of November, 1982 .

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
VACATION OF PORTION OF INDUSTRIAL PARK AVENUE
That portion of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section
21 , Township 1 South, Range 3 West, San Bernardino Meridian, in
the County of San Bernardino, State of California, according to
the Official Plat of said land filed in the District Land Office,
February 24 , 1869, described as follows:
Commencing at the centerline intersection of Walnut Avenue and
Alabama Street, as shown on Map of Henry L. Williams Tract, as
per Plat recorded -in Book 11 of Maps, Page 17 , records of said
County, said intersection lies Westerly 26 . 46 feet from the West
line of the Southwest quarter of said Section 21; thence along
the Easterly prolongation of the centerline of Walnut Avenue
North 890 32 ' 32" East 6 . 54 feet; thence South 01 25 ' 13" East
349 . 00 feet; thence North 891 34 ' 47" East 96 . 85 feet to the
Easterly right-of-way line of Alabama Street as described in a
deed to the State of California recorded February 3 , 1961, in
Book 5342, Page 385, of Official Records of said County, thence
continuing North 89° 34 ' 47" East 350 . 00 feet to the Northeast
corner of deed to Skateland recorded in Book 5433, Page 280 , of
said Official Records; thence South 00 25 ' 13" East, 198 . 91 feet;
thence South 32° 38 ' 46" East, 77 . 48 feet to the True Point of
Beginning; thence North 44' 34 ' 47" East, 28 . 23 feet; thence
South 45° 25 ' 13" East, 64. 00 feet; thence South 441 34 ' 47"
West, 93 . 16 feet; thence North 850 41 ' 40" West, 10. 63 feet to
the beginning of a tangent curve concave Southerly and having a
radius of 177 . 00 feet; thence Southwesterly along last said curve
through a central angle of 39° 47 ' 09" an arc distance of 122. 91
feet to a point of reverse curve concave Northwesterly and having
a radius of 268 . 00 feet, said Point of Reverse curve having a
radial which bears North 351 28 ' 49" West; thence Northeasterly
along last said curve through a central angle of 91 56 ' 24" an
arch distance of 46 . 49 feet to a Point of Tangency; thence North
