A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CLOSE A PORTION OF IVY STREET IN THE CITY OF
REDLANDS AS SAID STREET IS NO LONGER REQUIRED FOR STREET PURPOSES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS hereby resolves as follows-.
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to
proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 2 of the Streets
and Highways Code in the State of California and to vacate a street in the
manner provided therein,
SECTION TWO: This City Council does hereby declare that it is the intention
of the City Council to order the vacation of a portion of a certain street in
the City of Redlands,, County of San Bernardinog State of California, described
as follows-.
All of that portion of Ivy Street lying between Henrietta Street
and Burgis Street in the City of Redlands, County of San Bernar-
dino, State of California as shown on a Map of SmithQs Subdivision
No. 3 as per plat recorded in Book 12 of Maps, Page 33, records of
said County described as follows-.
Commencing at the centerline intersection of Henrietta and
Ivy Streets, thence south lh* 014 east 30 feet, thence south
750 594 west 30 feet to the true point of beginning which is also
the intersection of the westerly right-of-way line of 60 foot wide
Henrietta Street and the southerly right-of-way line of 60 foot
wide Ivy Street as shown on said map, thence along said southerly
right-of-way line of Ivy Street south 750 594 west 441.20 feet;
thence along a curve of 70 foot radius concave to the southwest
whose initial tangent bears north lit° Olt 0011 west through an
included angle of 58' 594 35" a distance of 72,07 feet to a point
on the northerly line of Ivy Street; thence along said northerly
line north 75° 594 east 475o141to the intersection of the northerly
right-of-way line of Ivy Street and the westerly right-of-way line
of Henrietta Street; thence along said westerly right-of-way line
of Henrietta Street south 14' Olt east 60 feet to the true point
of beginning,
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vacation of
the portion of a city street, namely Ivy Street, described herein, is required
by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare.
SECTION FOUR-. A map setting out the particulars of the proposed
street vacation shall be on file in the office of the City Clerk and
available for inspection by interested persons.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council. hereby .fixes the time and date and
place of a Public Hearing of all matters concerning the above-described
proposed street closing, and the time at which any person or agent should
present any objections to the aforesaid street vacation at 7000 Peps, on the
7st day of August., 1961, in the regular meeting place of the City Council
in the City Hall., Redlandsp California.
