RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE.- The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to
proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 2 of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate a part of an alley
in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO-. The City Council does hereby declare its intention to order
the vacation of a certain street described as follows.-
The easterly I of Kansas Street, a street -f �0-foot width,
as shown on the Map of Barton Ranch recorded in Book 6 of Maps,
page 19 thereof$ Records of San Bernardino, Lying between
the southerly line of Colton Avenues as said avenue is
shown on the Map of Barton Ranch, and the northeasterly
line of the 100-foot wide Atchison'. Topeka and Santa Fe Railway
Company right-of-way.
SECTION THREE.- The City Council hereby determines that the vacation
of the certain street described herein is required by public interest, con-
venience, safety and welfare.
SECTION FOUR.- A map setting the particulars of the proposed street
vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of Public Works
and available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to the
proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE.- The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and place
of Public Hearing on the above described street closing at 7;00 P.M. on the
19th day of March, 1963 in the regular meeting place of the City Council,
Redlands, California.
SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this resolution
shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general cir-
culation published and circulated in the City of Redlands, California.
