RESOLUTIOP OF IYMT10N TO VACATE,' A M, TAI14 STRM IH THE CITY OF REDL0DS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLARDS DOES RESOLVE, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the Citi of Redlands hereby elect® to
proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Fart 3, Chapter 2 of the Streate
and Highaays Code of the State of Cali f orn i a and to vacate a part of G„stk�!e;t
in the manner provided therein,
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its intention to order
the vacation of a. certain street described as follfl,3s:
The westerly 1/2 of Kansas ;street, a stree-L of 80 foot width,
as sho�a on the Map of Eartan Itch --recorded in Book 6 of Maps,
page 1.9 thereof, Records of San Beimardino, lying between the
southerly Line of Colton. Avenue, as esi.d avenue is shorn
on the gap of Barton Ranch, and the northeasterly line of the
100-foots wide Atchison, Topeka and. Santa Fe RailvV Company
right-o.f-war.
SECTION TEFEE: The City Council hereby determines that the vacation of
the certain street described herein is required by public interest, convenience,
safety and welfare.
SECTION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed street
vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of Public 'Works and
available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation. ,
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby £i.-,es the time and date and place
of Public Hearing on the above described street closing at 7tOO P.M. on the 16th
day of duly, 1963 in the regular meeting place of the City Council, Redlands,
California.
SECTION SIXs Within fifteen days after its passage, this resolution shall
be published in. the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation
published and circulated in the City of Redlands, California.
