RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION
OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does resolve as fol-
lows:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3 , Chap-
ter 2, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California
and to vacate a portion of a street in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its inten-
tion to order the vacation of a portion of La Paloma Street
described in the attached Exhibit "A. "
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that a
portion of La Paloma Street is excess right-of-way as a result of
a condition of approval for Conditional Use Permit No.. 362 in which
a cul-de-sac was dedicated to the City at the end of La Paloma
Street; therefore the vacation of the portion of La Paloma described
above may be required by public interest, convenience, safety and
welfare.
SECTION FOUR: The map setting the particulars of the proposed
street vacation shall be on file in the Office of the Department of
Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested in
or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date
and place of Public Hearing on the street closing at 7 : 00 P.M. on
the 16th day of August, 1983, in the regular meeting place of the
City Council, Redlands, California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 191th- day of July, 1983 .

EXHIBIT "A"
Being a portion of Lot 2 , Block "D" , SECOND PRELIMINARY MAP OF
REDLANDS, as recorded in Book 5 of Maps, page 2, records of San
Bernardino County, described as follows ;
BEGINNING at the centerline intersection of La Paloma Street and
Phlox Court, as shown on Tract No. 6886 recorded in Book 87 of Maps,
pages 93 and 94 , records of San Bernardino County; thence North 331
42 ' 03" West (recorded by said tract map as North• 33° 42 ' 00" West)
48 . 00 feet to the beginning of a curve concave to the North having
a radius of 200 feet; thence southeasterly 60 . 37 feet along said curve
(through an angle of 171 17 ' 39") to a point on a radial line bearing;
thence on said radial line bearing north 390 00 ' 18" East 30 .00 feet
to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING said True Point lying on the easterly
right-of-way line of La Paloma Street, said True Point also being the
beginning of a curve concave to the west and having a radius of 43 .63
feet; thence southerly 44 .24 feet along said curve (through an angle
of 581 05 ' 48 ") to a point of intersection with the southerly
right-of-way line of La Paloma Street; thence North 56* 17 ' 46" East,
28 .00 feet along said right-of-way to an intersection with the east
right-of-way line of La Paloma Street, said intersection also being
the beginning of a curve concave to the northeast having a radius of
170.00 feet; thence northerly 45 .92 feet along said curve (through
an angle of 150 28 ' 34") to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
