HomeMy WebLinkAbout3371_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 3371 A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF RE7LANDS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RE7LANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOL- LOWS : SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chap- ter 2, of the Street and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate a portion of a street in the manner provided therein. SECTION TWO : The City Council does hereby declare its inten- tion to order the vacation of a portion of a certain street des- cribed as follows : That portion of La Salle Street, 60 feet wide, as shown on Map of East Redlands, as per zap recorded in Book 7 of Maps, Page 47, .records of San Bernardino County, des- cribed as follows : Commencing at the intersection of the centerline of Citrus Avenue, as it now exists, with said centerline of La Salle Street; thence north 00 40 ' 43" gest, along said centerline of La Salle Street, a distance of 738. 27 feet to the true point of beginning; thence continuing north 0' 40 ' 43" west, along said centerline of La Salle Street, a distance of 102 .81 feet to a point on the southerly lane of the land described in Deed to the San Bernardino County Flood Con- trol District recorded May 10, 1971, in Book 7663, P cTe 548, Official Records of said County, said point being the beginning of a non-tangent curve, concave northerly having a radius of 5540 feet, a radial line through said point bears north 120 22 ' 29" east; thence westerly along said southerly lime through a central angle of 0' 19' 07", a distance of 30.81 feet to the westerly lime of said La Salle Street; thence south 00 40 ' 43" east, along said westerly line, a distance of 102 .76 feet to a point which bears north 77° 22 ' 52" gest from the true point of begin- ning; thence south 77" 22 ' 52" east 30 .83 feet to the true point of beginning. SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vacation of the portion of a certain street described above is required by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare. SECTION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed street vacation shall be on file in the office of the department of Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and place of public hearing on the street closing at 7:00 P.M. on the 19th day of July, 1977, in the regular meeting place of the City Council, Redlands, California. SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this reso- lution ,shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in the City of Redlands, California.
