RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION
OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter
2 of the Street and Highways Code of the State of California and to
vacate a portion of a street in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its intention
to order the vacation of a portion of a certain street described as
follows :
All that portion of Laurel Road, lying- Westerly of
the Southwesterly right of way line of Terracina
Boulevard, said line being parallel with and 50
feet Southwesterly of said centerline of Terracina
Boulevard, and lying Southeasterly of the following
described line:
COMMENCING at the Northwesterly corner of Lot 12 of
said TERRACINA PARK; thence along the Northerly line
of said Lot 12 along a curve concave to the Northwest
and whose radius of 94. 50 feet; Northeasterly 64.85
feet to a point of reverse curve; thence curving to
the right along a radius of 66. 30 feet, an arc dis-
tance of 80.92 feet to a point of reverse cur"- as
shown on said map of TERRACINA PARK, the radial line
through said point of reverse curve bears North 10
12 ' 30" East (North 10 10' East record per said map
of TERRACINA PARK) , said point of reverse curve being
the True Point of Beginning, said True Point of Begin-
ning lying at the beginning of a curve concave to the
Northwest and whose radius is 168.00 feet and whose
initial tangent bears North 720 09 ' East; thence from
the True Point of
BEGINNING Northeasterly along said cuxve, 128.28 feet
and through a central angle of 430 45 ' to a point of
compound curve; thence curving to the left along a
radius of 105.00 feet, an arc distance of 58. 58 feet
and through a central angle of 310 58 ' to a point of
reverse curve; thence curving to the right along a
radius of 200.00 feet, an arc distance of 120.89 feet
and through a central angle of 340 38 ' to a point of
compound curve; thence curving to the right along a
radius of 120.67 feet, an arc distance of 43.86 feet
and through a central angle of 200 491 35" ; thence
North 510 53 ' 35" East 97.03 feet to the terminus of
said line at a point on the Southwesterly right of way
line of Terracina Boulevard.

SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vaca-
tion of the portion of the certain street described herein is required
by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare.
SECTION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed street
vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of Public
Works and available for inspection by persons interested in or object-
ing to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date
and place of Public hearing on the above-described street closing at

SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this resolu-
tion shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of
general circulation published and circulated in the City of Redlands,
California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this day of 1966.
