HomeMy WebLinkAbout3372_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 3372 A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOL- LOWS : SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chap- ter 2, of the Street and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate a portion of a street in the manner provided therein. SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its inten- tion to order the vacation of a portion of a certain street des- cribed as follows : The southeasterly 5 feet of 70 foot wide Magnolia Avenue bet- ween Bellevue Avenue (formerly Railroad Avenue) and Lakeside Avenue (formerly Myrtle Avenue) in the City of Redlands as shown on the MAP OF WEST REDLANDS per map recorded in Map Book 9, Page 29, records of San Bernardino County. SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vacation of the portion of a certain street described above is required by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare. SECTION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed street vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and place of public hearing on the street closing at 7 :00 P.M. on the 19th day of July, 1977, in the regular meeting place of the City Council, Redlands, California. SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this reso- lution shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation and published and circulated in the City of Redlands, California.
