RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION
OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects
to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 2, of the
Street and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate a por-
tion of a street in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its intention
to order the vacation of a portion of Magnolia Avenue described as fol-
lows :
The Southeasterly 5 .00 feet of Magnolia Avenue as said Avenue
is shown on Map of West Redlands recorded in Book 9, Page 22
of Maps, Records of San Bernardino County, California, fronting
on Lots 1 through 7, inclusive, Block 29 of said Map of West
Redlands .
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vacation
of the portion of a certain street described herein is required by public
interest, convenience, safety and welfare .
SECTION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed street
vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of Public Works
and available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to the
proposed vacation .
SECTION FIVE : The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and
place of Public Hearing on the street closing at 7:00 P.M. on the 4th
day of October, 1977, in the regular meeting place of the City Council,
Redlands, California .
SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this resolution
shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general
circulation published and circulated in the City of Redlands, California .
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 20th day of September, 1977.
