HomeMy WebLinkAbout5672_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO, 5672 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET (STREET VACATION NO. 114) BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS as follows: SECTION ONE. The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to proceed under Sections 8320 et. se ., of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California to consider the vacation of a portion of a certain street in the manner provided therein. SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its intention to order the vacation a remnant portion of public right-of-way located at the most northerly terminus of Margarita Drive as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. SECTION THREE: The City Council has preliminarily determined that a portion of said street is excess right-of-way; therefore, such street portion may not be required for present or prospective public use. SECTION FOUR: The map setting forth the particulars of the proposed street vacation shall be on file in the Department of Planning and Community Development, Civic Center, 35 Cajon Street, Suite 20, Redlands, California, and is available for inspections by persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time, date and place of the public hearing on the street vacation at 7:00 P.M. on the 5th day of October, 1999, in the Council Chambers, Civic Center, 35 Cajon Street, Redlands, California.
