A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FINDING
THAT A PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET IS UNNECESSARY FOR PRESENT
OR PROSPECTIVE STREET PURPOSES AND ORDERING THE VACATION OF
SAID PORTION
STREET VACATION NO. 114
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS hereby resolves as
follows:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands, having elected to
proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 2, of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California, and having held a public hearing as provided
herein, hereby finds from all evidence submitted that a remnant portion of public right-of-
way
ight-ofway located at the most northerly terminus of Margarita Drive described in Exhibit "A"
(attached hereto and made a part thereof) is unnecessary for present or prospective public
use and that the public interest and convenience require the closing of a portion of said
street.
SECTION TWO: The City Council hereby orders the vacation of a portion of
said street described in the attached Exhibit "A."
SECTION THREE: In the proceeding herein adopted by this City Council for the
vacation of a portion of said street described in the attached Exhibit "A," the City of
Redlands reserves and excepts from the vacations the permanent easement and right at
any time, or from time to time to construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove and renew
sanitary sewers and storm drains and appurtenant structures, in, upon, over and across any
street or part thereof proposed to be vacated and pursuant to any exiting franchises or
renewals thereof, or otherwise, to construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove, renew
and enlarge lines of pipe, conduits, cables, wires, poles and other convenient structures,
equipment and fixtures for the operation of gas pipe lines, telegraphic and telephone
lines, and for the distribution or transportation of electric energy water and incidental
purposes, including access and right to keep property free from inflammable materials

and wood growth, and to otherwise protect the same from all hazards in, upon, and over
the portions of the street proposed to be vacated.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 5th day of October, 1999.

MARGARITA DRIVE VACATION
That portion of Margarita Drive as shown on Tract 15040 per map recorded in Book266, pages
54 through 58 inclusive Records of San Bernardino County, State of California described as:
Commencing at the intersection of the centerline of Margarita Drive and the south boundary as
shown on said Tract;
Thence North 89°34'57" East along said boundary a distance of 35.13 feet to The True Point of
Beginning, also bei g 4 point on a curvti yoncave to the south, having a radius of 47.00 feet,
from which the radius point bears South 60°08'30" East;
Thence northeasterly, easterly and southeasterly along said curve, to the
right, through a central angle of 119°26'54", an arc distance of 97.98 feet to
a point of cusp, also being a point on the said south boundary;
Thence South 89°34'57" West along said boundary a distance of 81.18 feet to The True Point of
Beginning.
