HomeMy WebLinkAbout3752_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 3752 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PORTIONS OF CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS STREET VACATION NO. 72 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does resolve as fol- lows: SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9 , Part 3 , Chap- ter 2 , of the Street and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate portions of streets in the manner provided therein. SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its inten- tion to order the vacation of portions of Marian and Sixth Avenues described in the attached Exhibit "A. " SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vacation of the portions of Marian and Sixth Avenues described above are required by public interest , convenience, safety and welfare. SECTION FOUR: The map setting the particulars of the proposed street vacations shall be on file in the office of the Department of Planning and available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacations. SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and place of Public Hearing on the street closings at 7 :00 P.M. on the 19th day of May, 1981, in the regular meeting place of the City Council, Redlands , California. SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this reso- lution shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts , a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in the City of Redlands , California.
