RESOLUTION AMNDING RESOLUTION NO. 590, entitled "RESOLUTIOR

CALIFORNIA, " ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF REDLA DS
ON March 6th 1941 , BY CORRECTING THELEIGAL DESCRIPITIONT
CONTAIN-ED TlrERBIN.
WBEREAS, the City Council of the =-ity of Redlands on
1946 , did close a portion of blariposa Drive within said City, by
Resolution No. 590, entitled "Resolution Closing A Portion Of
lvlariposa Drive Within The City of Redlands, California, " and
whereas it has 'been found that an error made in the legal
description of that part of the said street duly closed as shown
by said Resolution, and that by reason of said error a part of
the portion of the said Mariposa Drive closed contained a city
street in good condition and iii full use, and which portion
inadvertently closed by said resolution is still in use and has
never been abandoned by said City,
AND V&EREA3, this City of Redlands desires to correct said
technical error in said description of that portion of said
Mariposa Street closed, which description, containing said error
as set forth in said resolution, rsaas as follows-.
That certain ,portion. of Mariposa Drive lying in the ,est
" ) of Section One, TolNnship 2, South,, Range(W1 e 3, I.,Vest,
S. B. B. & Mi. Except that DOrtion as shown on 1,i.,,,qp of
Tr,_:-,ct No. 2199, VVestwood Subdivision No. 1, as recorded in
Book 32 of Maps, page 13 and 14, San Bernardino County,
California.
And Whereas the said above description should read as follows:
That certain portion of hl[ariposa Drive lying in the 'Kest
Half (W11 ) of Section One, Towinship 2, South, Range 3, West,
S. B. B. & M. Except that -portion as shown on 141"ap of Tract
No. 2199, i4estwood Subdivision No. 1, as recorded in Book 32
of Maps, Page 13 and 14, San Bernardino County, California,
and further excepting that certain portion of Yariposa Drive,
extended and lyinE to the West of said Tract No. 2199, as
1--lariposa Drive existed on Ylay 2nd, 1946.

NOW, THERBFORE B. IT '.1,�SQLV:6;D by the City Council of the City
of Redlands, that the the legal description of that portion of
Ylariposa Drive within said City of Redlands, County of San Bernardo,
State of California, as contained in Resolution No. 590, Entitled,
"Resolution Closing Portion of Yariposa Drive `1�4ithin the City of
Redlands, California, " be amended and corrected to read as follovis:
That certain portion of Mariposa Drive lying in the ;est
Half twi)of Section One, Township 2, South, Range 3, Vest,
S. B. B. & 111. Except that portion as shown on 11ap of Tract
No. 2199, '9'Vestwood Subdivision No. 1, as recorded in. Book 32
of reaps, page 13 and 14, San .Bernardino County, California,
and further excepting that certain portion of L4ariposa Drive,
extended and lying to the West of said Tract i�o. 2199, as
bariposa Drive existed on tray 2nd, 194b. And specifically
excepting all aad any parts of said 11dariposa Drive, as
dedicated by 11ap iNo. 3133 , County club and hereto-
fore accepted by the said City of itedlands, and recorded in
Book 39 of Maps/, records of said San Bernardino County.

i hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was adopted by the
Uity council of the City of Redlands, at a regular meeting thereof
held on the 5th day of Li,ebruary, 1948, by the following vote .
