7 RE�;OLVED, that the public interest, convenience and
necessity require, and that it is the intention oZ the City
Council of the City of Redlands, to order the closing, of that
8 portion of the alley in McKinley heights 4iubdivision in said
City, lying between lots 16 to 24 and lots 10 to 15 in said
9 subdivision. The said City of Redlands hereby reserves the
right to construct, maintain, and operate all public utilities
10 in the area now occupied by said alley.
11 R&,6OLVBD,, AUIRMER, that the lands affected and
benefited by said work and improvement and the closing, of said
12 portion of said street and the lands to be assessed to pay the
damages, cost and expenses thereof, shall embrace all that
13 certain real property situate in the City of Redlands, County
of 6an Bernardino, 6tate of GaliforLia, lying within the district,
14 the exterior boundaries of which are described as follows, to-wit -,
15 �.11 that land lying between Harding Drive and
Monterey 4t. and West Cypress ,iLve. and Clifton
16 �ive.
17 REWLVED, FURTELR, that notice of the passage of this
resolution be given as provided by an act of the Legislature of
18 the -'��tate of California, entitled, "An act to provide for laying
out, opening, extending, widening, straightening, or closing up
19 in whole or in part any street, square, lane, alley, court or
place within muxicipalities and to condemn and acquire any and
20 all land and property necessary or oonvenierit for that purpose,"
(,4pproved larch 6 . l8e9) , and all acts ameLdutory thereof, and
21 that such notice be published as provided by said act in the
Redlands Daily iact, a daily newspaper, published aad circulated
22 in said City.
