RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A CERTAIN
STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does resolve as
follows:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands
hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9 ,
Part 3, Chapter 2, of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State of California and to vacate portions of streets in the
manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its
intention to order the vacation of a portion of [!ill Street
as described in Exhibit "A" and a portion of Citrus Avenue
(formerly known as Sacramento Street) as described in Exhibit
nB. "
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that
a portions of Mill Street and Citrus Avenue (formerly known
as Sacramento Street ) are unimproved and excess
right-of-way; therefore the vacations of the portions of Mill
Street as described in Exhibit "A" and Citrus Avenue
(formerly known as Sacramento Street) described in Exhibit
"B" may be required by public interest, convenience, safety
and welfare.
SECTION FOUR: The map setting the particulars of the
proposed street vacations shall be on file in the office of
the Public Works Department and available for inspection by
persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacations.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time
and date and place of Public Hearings on the street closings
at 7 : 00 P. M. on the 1st day of July, 1986 , in the regular
meeting place of the City Council, Redlands, California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 17th day of June,
1986.

PARCEL 1
That portion of Tull Street as shown on Map of Lord ' s
Subdivision recorded in Book 14 of f',aps, Page 10 , records of
San Bernardino County, lying North of the centerline of
Citrus Avenue (formerly Sacramento Street) as shown on said
map.
Together with that portion of Citrus Avenue ( formerly
Sacramento Street) as shown on Map of Peller , Pratt , and
Kendall ' s Subdivision recorded in Book 5, Page 22, records of
said County , lvina adiacent to Lot 16 , Block "B" , of said
subdivision and North of the centerline o-f said Citrus
Avenue.
Also together with that portion of said Lot 16 as described
in the deed to the City of Redlands recorded February 10 ,
1941 , in Book 1455 , Page 150 , Official Records of said
County, described as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of said Lot 16 ; thence
northerly 66. 40 feet to a point on the west line of said
lot, said point being 40 feet north of the southwest
corner of said lot ; thence south 40 feet to the
southwest corner of said lot; thence east 53 feet to the
point of beginning.
Also together with that portion of Lot 1 , Block 27 , Second
Preliminary flap of Redlands, as per plat recorded in Book 5
of daps, Page 2, records of said County, lying west of the
west line of Mill Street as shown on said flap of Lord ' s
Subdivision and North of the westerly prolongation of the
centerline of Citrus Avenue (formerly Sacramento Street) as
shown on said flan.

That portion of Citrus Avenue (formerly Sacramento Street)
and Pill Street as shown on Map of Lord ' s Subdivision
recorded in Book 14 of Maps , Page 10 , records of San
Bernardino County, and that portion of Lot 1 , Block 27 ,
Second Preliminary Map of Redlands, as per plat recorded in
Book 5 of Maps, Page 2 , records of said County, described as
follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 1 of said
Lord' s Subdivision; thence along the north line of said
Lot 1 south 890 12 ' 18 " west , 50 . 00 feet to the
northwest corner of said Lot l; thence south 00 19' 26"
east, 57. 89 feet along the west line of said Lot 1 to
the southwest corner thereof, said southwest corner
being on the northeasterly line of the rloore and
Woodworth Brookside Subdivision as recorded in Book 23
of Maps, Page 19 , records of San Bernardino County;
thence north 330 59' 00" west, 99.04 feet along said
northeasterly line to the westerly prolongation of the
centerline of Citrus Avenue as shown on said Lord ' s
Subdivision; thence north 890 12' 18" east, 82.44 feet
along said prolongation and said centerline to a
non-tangent curve, concave to the northeast, having a
radius of 40 .00 feet and an initial radial bearing of
south 671 10' 49" west; thence southeasterly along said
curve through a central angle of 67 58 ' 31 " an arc
distance of 47. 46 feet to a point of tangency with the
south right-of-way line of said Citrus Avenue; thence
south 89" 12'' 18" west along last said line, 14. 83 feet
to the point of beginning.
