A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF NEW JERSEY
STREET
STREET VACATION NO. 125
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
as follows:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to
proceed under Sections 8320 et. sea., of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California to consider the vacation of a portion of a certain street in the manner provided
therein.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its intention to order the
vacation of a 2-foot segment of New Jersey Street, south of Park Avenue, for a distance
of 283.85 feet (as described in Exhibit"A" and shown in Exhibit"B" attached hereto).
SECTION THREE: The City Council has preliminarily determined that a
portion of said street is excess right-of-way; therefore, such street portion may not be
required for present or prospective public use.
SECTION FOUR: The map setting forth the particulars of the proposed street
vacation shall be on file in the Community Development Department, Planning Division,
Civic Center, 35 Cajon Street, Suite 20, Redlands, California, and is available for
inspections by persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time, date and place of the
public hearing on the street vacation at 7:00 P.M. on the 5th day of August, 2003, in the
Council Chambers, Civic Center, 35 Cajon Street, Suite 2, Redlands, California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 1st day of July, 2003.
