RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET
IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects
to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 2, of the
Street and Highways Code of the State of California, and to vacate a por-
tion of a street in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO : The City Council does hereby declare its intention to
order the vacation of a portion of a certain street described as follows :
The easterly 8.00 feet of 80 foot wide New York Street
lying southerly of State Street (formerly Citrus Avenue)
and northerly of the Mill Creek Zanja;
and
The southerly 8.00 feet of 80 foot wide State Street
(formerly Citrus Avenue) lying easterly of New York
Street and westerly of Center Street.
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vacation
of a portion of the certain street described herein is required by public
interest, convenience, safety and welfare.
SECTION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed street
vacation shall be on file in the office of the Public Works Department and
available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to the pro-
posed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and
place of the Public Hearing on the street closing at 7 :00 P.M. on the
first day of March, 1977, in the regular meeting place of the City Council,
Redlands, California.
SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this resolution
shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general
circulation published and circulated in the City of Redlands, California.

In conformance with Tentative Maps Nos. 9455 and 9528, it is
requested that portions of New York. Street and State Street be
vacated as follows ;
The Easterly 8.00 feet of 80 foot wide New York Street lying
southerly of State Street (formerly Citrus Avenue) and Northerly
of the Mill Creek Zanja;
and
The Southerly 8.00 feet of 80 foot wide State Street (Formerly
Citrus Avenue) lying easterly of New York Street and westerly of
Center Street.
