RESOLUTION NO. 4355 CO., CALIF.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
FINDING THAT A PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET IS UNNECESSARY FOR
PRESENT OR PROSPECTIVE STREET PURPOSES AND ORDERING THE
VACATION OF SAID PORTION (STREET VACATION NO.93)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS hereby ordains
and resolves as follows:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands,
having elected to proceed under the provisions of Division 9,
Part 3, Chapter 2, of the Streets and Highways Cade of the
State of California , and having held a public hearing as
provided herein, hereby finds from all evidence submitted
that a portion of said street described in Exhibit "A"
(attached) is unnecessary for present or prospective street
purposes and that the public interest and convenience rewire
the closing of a portion of said street. The City Council
hereby further finds that such vacation is consistent with
the City' s General Plan.
SECTION TWO : The City Council hereby orders the
vacation of a portion of said street described in the
attached Exhibit "A. "
SECTION THREE: In the proceeding herein adopted by this
City Council for the vacation of a portion of said street
described in the attached Exhibit "A. " the City of Redlands
reserves and excepts from the vacations the permanent
easement and right at any time, or from time to tire, to
construct , maintain, operate , replace, remove and renew
sanitary sewers and storm drains and appurtenant structures,
in, upon, over and across any street or part thereof proposed
to be vacated and pursuant to any exiting franchises or
renewals thereof , or otherwise, to construct , maintain ,
operate, replace, remove, renew and enlarge lines of pipe,
conduits , cables , wires , pales and other convenient
structures, equipment and fixtures for the operation of gas
pipe lines, telegraphic and telephone lines, and for the
distribution or transportation of electric energy, water and
incidental purposes , including access and right to keep
property free from inflammable materials and wood growth, and
to otherwise protect the same from all hazards in, upon, and
over the portions of the street proposed to be vacated.

SECTION POUR: The City Council hereby determines that
the vacation of a portion of said street as described in the
attached Exhibit "A" herein is required by public interest,
convenience, safety and welfare.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 19th day of April ,
1988 .

Street Vacation= �o . 9
A portion of Kansas Street described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the West right-of-way line of Kansas
Street with the South right-of-way line of Orange Avenue; thence
easterly along the prolongation of last said line to it's intersection
with a line parallel with and 10.00 feet (measured at right angles)
easterly of said West right-of-way line of Kansas Street; thence
southerly along said parallel line to it's intersection with the
Boundary line of Parcel Map No. 9186, recorded in Book 98 of Parcel
Maps, Pages 43 and 44 in the office of the County Recorder, County of
San Bernardino, State of California; thence westerly along said
Boundary line to it's intersection with said West right-of-way line
of Kansas Street; thence northerly along last said line to the Point
of Beginning.
