RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A CERTAIN
ALLEY IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does resolve as
follows:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands
hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9,
Part 3, Chapter 2, of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State of California and to vacate a portion of a certain
alley in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its
intention to order the vacation of a portion of an alley
as described in Exhibit "A" attached.
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that
a portion of said alley excess right-of-way; therefore the
vacation of a portion of said alley as described in Exhibit
"A" may be required by public interest, convenience, safety
and welfare.
SECTION FOUR: The map setting the particulars of the
proposed alley vacation shall be on file in the office of the
Engineering Services Department and available for inspection
by persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time
and date and place of Public Hearings on the alley closing at
7 :00 P.M. on the 3rd day of May, 1988, in the regular meeting
place of the City Council , Redlands, California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 19th day of April ,
1988.

EXHIBIT "A"
All that portion of Lot 3 , Block "0" , Second Preliminary Map
of Redlands , in the City of Redlands , County of San
Bernardino, State of California, as per plat recorded in Book
5 of Maps, Page 2 thereof, records of said County , described
as follows.
Beginning at the most Southerly corner of said Lot 3 on the
Northwesterly line of 100 foot wide Olive Avenue; thence
along the Southwesterly line of said Lot 3 , North 330 40 '
West 120 .00 feet; thence parallel with the centerline of said
Olive Avenue, North 560 20 ' East 125 . 00 feet to the True
Point of Beginning; thence South 330 40 ' East, 10 .00 feet;
thence South 56" 20 ' West 95 .00 feet; thence North 30° 40 '
West, 10 . 00 feet; thence North 560 20 ' East 95 .00 feet to the
True Point of Beginning .
