RESOLUTION NO. 4363 8, 8-149913
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
FINDING THAT A PORTION OF A CERTAIN ALLEY IS UNNECESSARY FOR
PRESENT OR PROSPECTIVE ALLEY PURPOSES AND ORDERING THE
VACATION OF SAID PORTION
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLAN'DS hereby ordains
and resolves as follows
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands,
having elected to proceed under the provisions of Division 9,
Part 3, Chapter 2, of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State of California, and having held a public hearing as
provided herein, hereby finds from all evidence submitted
that a portion of said alley described in Exhibit " A"
(attached) is unnecessary for present or prospective alley
purposes and that the public interest and convenience require
the closing of a portion of said alley. The City Council
hereby further finds that such vacation is consistent with
the City's General Plan.
SECTION TWO : The City Council hereby orders the
vacation of a portion of said alley described in the attached
Exhibit "A."
SECTIO THREE: The City Council hereby determines that
the vacation of a portion of said alley as described in the
attached Exhibit "A" herein is required by public :interest,
convenience, safety and welfare.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 3th day of May, 1988.

All that portion of Lot 3, Block "0" , Second Preliminary Map
of Redlands , in the City of Redlands , County of San
Bernardino, State of California, as per plat recorded in Book
5 of Maps, Page 2 thereof, records of said County, described
as follows:
Beginning at the most Southerly corner of said Lot 3 on the
Northwesterly line of 100 foot wide Olive Avenue; thence
along the Southwesterly line of said Lot 3 , North 33" 40 '
West 120.00 feet; thence parallel with the centerline of said
Olive Avenue, North 560 20 ' East 125 . 00 feet to the True
Point of Beginning; thence South 330 40 ' East, 10 .00 feet;
thence South 560 20 ' West 95 .00 feet; thence North 30° 40 '
West, 10.00 feet; thence North 560 20 ' East 95 .00 feet to the
True Point of Beginning.
