A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC
RIGHT-OF-WAY
STREET VACATION NO, 121
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
as follows:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to
proceed under Sections 8320 et. seq., of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California to consider the vacation of a portion of a certain public right of way in the
manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its intention to order the
vacation of a portion of public right-of-way located on the south side of Orange Avenue,
west of Nevada Street, as described in Exhibit "A," attached hereto and incorporated
herein by this reference.
SECTION THREE: The City Council has preliminarily determined that a
portion of said public right-of-way is excess right-of-way; therefore, such public right-of-
way portion may not be required for present or prospective public use.
SECTION FOUR: The map setting forth the particulars of the proposed public
right-of-way vacation shall be on file in the Department of Planning and Community
Development, Civic Center, 35 Cajon Street, Suite 20, Redlands, California, and is
available for inspections by persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time, date and place of the
public hearing on the vacation at 7:00 P.M. on the 17th day of July, 2001, in the Council
Chambers, Civic Center, 35 Cajon Street, Suite 2, Redlands, California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 19th day of June, 2001.

Township 1 South, Range 3 West, S. B. M., being all that portion of the north half of the east half
of Block 7 of Barton Ranch per map on file in Book 6, Page 19 of Maps, records of said County
and State, described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the south line of Orange Avenue, 80 feet wide, and the west
line of Nevada Street, 80 feet wide,
Thence North 89° 53' 36" West, along said south line of Orange Avenue, a distance of 11.86 feet,
to the Point of Beginning;
Thence North 43° 06' 52" West, a distance of 9.61 feet, to a line parallel with, and 33.00 feet
southerly of, the center line of said Orange Avenue;
Thence North 89° 53' 36" West, along said parallel line, a distance of 601.16 feet, to the west line
of the north half of the east half of said Block 7;
Thence South 00° 24' 41" East, along said west line, a distance of 7.00 feet, to the south line of
said Orange Avenue;
Thence South 89° 53' 36" East, along said south line, a distance of 607.68 feet, to the Point of
Beginning.
