RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CLOSE A PORTION OF THE NORTH SIDE OF OROGE AVENUE
EASTERLY OF TENNESSEE STRUT IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE; The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to
proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 2 of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California and to -vacate a part of a street
in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its intention to order the
vacation of a portion of Orange Avenue described as follows:
Comnencing at the intersection of the center line of Tennessee Street,
also known as San Mateo Street, 80 feet wide, and Orange Avenue, as
said intersection is shown on Tract No. 5300 recorded in Book 63 of
Maps, Pages 13 and 114 thereof in the office of the County Recorder
of San Bernardino County; thence North 890 47' 30" East 660.19 feet;
thence North 00 121 30" West 10.00 feet to the True point of Beginning;
thence South 890 47' 3011 West 6014.30 feet to the beginning of a
tangent curve, whose radius is 12.00 feet concave north easterly;
said curve is also tangent at its northerly terminus with a line
that is parallel with and 1.114.00 feet easterly, measured at right
angles, from said centerline of Tennessee Street; thence north westerly
along said curve through an included angle of 800 2141 1611 an are
distance of 16.814 feet to its intersection with the northerly line
of Orange Street; thence North 890 47, 30" East along said northerly
line 616.13 feet; thence South 00 12' 3013 East 10.00 feet to the
True Point of Beginning.
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vacation of
the portion of the street described herein is required by public interest,,
convenience, safety and welfare.
SECTION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed street
vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of Public Works
and a.vailab?.e for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to the:
proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council herdby fixes the time and date and place
of Public Hearing on the above described street c�.osing at 7:00 P.M. on the
17th day of July, 1962 in the regular mecting place of the City Council 7n the;
City Hall, Redlands, California.
SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this resolution shall
be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation
published and circulated in the City of Redlands, California.
