RESOLUTION 01INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET
IN THE CITY 01; REDLANDS
TlflY CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does resolve as follows
SECTION ONE : The City Council_ of the City of Redlands hereby
elects to proceed under the provisions of' Division 9 , Part
Chapter 2 of the Street and Highways Clode of the State of
California and to vacate a portion of a street in the iaanner
provided therein,
S ECT 10 N 'F W 0: The City, Council does hereby declare its intention
to order the vacation of a portion of Sunset- Drive- formerly
111*dgemont Drive described as follows :
BeinoL, a portion of Lot 1.3 of Sunset Heights as recorded
i n Book 15 of Mfaps , Pages 5.1 and 52 , in. the office of
the Recorder in the County of San Bernardino , State of
California described as follows :
beginning at the intersection of the Southeasterly line
of Lot 10 of said map of Sunset Heights , with the
centerline of Sunset Drive (formerly known as Edgemont

Drive) , thence-, N 40 08 ' 3S" W along last said line
254 . 87 feet to an angle point therein ; thence N 720
3S ' 1511 W along said centerline of Sunset Drive 1,54 . 50
feet ; thence N 170 2141 45" E 25 . 00 feet to the True
Point of Beginning , thence S 720 35 ' 15" E 38 . 21, feet ;
thence S 590 101 33" 1 38 . 21 feet to a point on a tangent
curve concave Southwesterly having a. radius of 325 . 00
feet , a. radial line through said point bears S 300 491

feet to the True Point of, Beginning .
Said Parcel contains 0 , 001. acres .
SECTION THREE : The City Council hereby determines that the

vcation of the portion of Sunset Drive described above is
required by public interest , convenience , safety and welfare.
SF,CTION FOUR: The map setting the particulars of the, proposed
street vacati.on shall be on file in the office of the Department
of Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested
in or objecting to the proposed vacation .
SECTION FIVE : The City Council. hereby fixes the time and (late
and place of Public f-learing on the street closing at : 00 P.M.

on the 18t-h day of April, 1978in the regular meeting place of the
City Counci I , Redlands , California .

SECTION SIX : Within fifteen days after its passage , this
resolution shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts , a news -
paper of general circulation published and circulated in the City
of Redlands , California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 23rd day of March, 1978.
