A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PORTIONS
OF CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does resolves as fol-
lows:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chap-
ter 2, of the Street and Highways Code of the State of California
and to vacate portions of streets in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its inten-
tion to order the vacation of portions of Barton Road and Brookside
Avenue as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the
vacation of portions of Barton Road and Brookside Avenue described
in the attached is required by public interest, convenience, safety
and welfare.
SECTION FOUR: The map setting the particulars of the proposed
street vacations shall be on file in the office of the Department
of Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested
in or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date
and place of Public Hearing on the street closings at 7:00 P.M. on
the 21st day of February, 1978, in the regular meeting place of the
City Council, Redlands, California.
SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this
resolution shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a news-
paper of general circulation published and circulated in the City
of Redlands, California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 7th day of February, 1978.
