HomeMy WebLinkAbout2434_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 2434 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CLOSE A PORTION OF REDLANDS STREET The City Council of the City of Redlands Does Resolve as follows : SECTION ONE: This City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3 , Chapter 2 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate a part of a street in the manner provided therein. Street vacation No. 45. SECTION TWO : This City Council does hereby declare its intention to order the vacation of a portion of Redlands Street described as follows : That portion of Redlands Street between Highland Avenue and Fifth Avenue, said closure to extend approximately 1100 feet from a point approximately 550 feet south of Highland Avenue to the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Dearborn Street . Street vacation No. 45 . SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vacation of the portion of the street described herein is required by public interest, convenience , safety and welfare. SECTION FOUR: A map setting out the particulars of the proposed street vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and place of Public Hearing on the above described street closing at 7 -00 P.M. on the bth day of . prll , 1965 in the regular meeting of the City Council in the Safety Building, Redlands, California. SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this resolution shall. be published in the Redlands Daily Facts , a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in the City of Redlands , California.
