RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PORTIONS
OF CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF 711E CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOL-
LOINIS:
SECTION ONE: The city council of the City of Redlands hereby
elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, part 3, Chap-
ter 2, of the Street and Highways Code of the State of California
and to vacate oortions of streets in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its inten-
tion to order the vacation of portions of certain streets described
as follows:
Legal Description for Vacating Alley Between Rosette Street and
Redlands Boulevard
All that portion of 16 foot wide alley in Block 4 of Crescent Ave-
nue Subdivision in the Citv of Redlands , recorded in Book 5 of Maps ,
Page 78 thereof, records of San Bernardino County, lying easterly
of the east line of 60 foot wide Rosette Street and westerly of
the soutlln,,resterly line of Redlands Boule7ard, and southerly of Lots
1, 2, 3 and 4 and northerly of Lots 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25 of said
Crescent Avenue Subdivision.
SECTIO N THREE: The Cite council hereby determines that the
vacation of the portions of the certain streets described herein
is required by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare.
SECTION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed
street vacation shall be on file i.-I the office of the Department of
Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested in
or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FJL-VE: The city council hereby fixes the time and date
and place of Public Hearing on the above-described street closing
at 7: 00 P.M. on the 4th day of May, 1971 in the regular meeting
place of the City Council, Redlands, California.
SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this reso-
lution shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper
of general circulation published and circulated in the City of
Redlands, California.
