BOX 3005 Doc#: 2009-0356910 Titles: 1 Pages: 4 REDLANDS, CA 92373 Fees 0.00 Taxes 0.00 FEES NOT REQUIRED Other 0.00 PAID $0.00 PER GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 6103 (THIS SPACE FOR RECORDER'S USE ONLY) RESOLUTION NO. 6873 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FINDING THAT A PORTION OF SHARON STREET IS UNNECESSARY FOR PRESENT OR PROSPECTIVE STREET PURPOSES AND ORDERING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF SHARON ROAD (STREET VACATION NO. 149); THAT HOLLY LANE IS UNNECESSARY FOR PRESENT OR PROSPECTIVE STREET PURPOSES AND ORDERING THE VACATION OF HOLLY LANE (STREET VACATION NO. 150); THAT A PORTION OF SIXTH STREET IS UNNECESSARY FOR PRESENT OR PROSPECTIVE STREET PURPOSES AND ORDERING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF SIXTH STREET(STREET VACATION NO. 151); AND THAT A PORTION OF DELAWARE STREET IS UNNECESSARY FOR PRESENT OR PROSPECTIVE STREET PURPOSES AND ORDERING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF DELAWARE AVENUE (STREET VACATION NO. 152) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS hereby resolves as follows: SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands, having elected to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 2, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, and having held a public hearing as provided therein, hereby finds from all evidence submitted that: Sharon Road, located generally north of Lugonia Avenue, east of Sixth Street and south of Delaware Avenue; Holly Lane, located generally north of Lugonia Avenue, east of Sixth Street and south of Delaware Avenue; a portion of Sixth Street from Lugonia Avenue on the south to Delaware Avenue on the north; and a portion of Delaware Avenue from. Orange Street on the west to its eastern terminus east of Sixth Street on the east, and as more specifically described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, is unnecessary for present or prospective public use and that the public interest and convenience require the vacation of a portion of that Street. SECTION TWO: The City Council hereby orders the vacation of these Streets, or portions thereof, described in the attached Exhibit "A." SECTION THREE: This Resolution shall take effect upon the effective date of City of Redlands Ordinance No. 2721. I ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 4th day of August, 2009.
