RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION
OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOL-
LOWS :
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chap-
ter 2, of the Street and Highways Code of the State of California
and to vacate a portion of a street in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its inten-
tion to order the vacation of a portion of a certain street des-
cribed as follows :
Legal Description for Vacation of Portion of South Avenue - Tract
9368
That portion of South Avenue lying northerly of a line which is
parallel with and northerly 35.00 feet, measured at right angles,
from the centerline of said South Avenue as shown on Map No. 6 of
a portion of Redlands Heights, in the City of Redlands, County of
San Bernardino, State of California, as shown in Book 7 of Maps,
Page 40, records of said County, said portion to be vacated being
located between Cajon Street and California Street as shown on said
Map.
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the
vacation of the portion of a certain street described above is
required by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare.
SECTION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed
street vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department
of Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested
in or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date
and place of Public Hearing on the street closing at 7:00 P.M. on
the 7th day of December, 1976 in the regular meeting place of the
City Council, Redlands, California.
SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this reso-
lution shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper
of general circulation published and circulated in the City of
Redlands, California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 16th day of November, 1976,

LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF PORTION OF SOUTH
AVENUE TO BE VACATED FOR TRACT 9368
That portion of SOUTH AVENUE lying northerly of a line which
is parallel with and northerly 35 .00 feet, measured at right
angles, from the centerline of said SOUTH AVENUE as shown on
Map No. 6 of a portion of Redlands Heights, in the City of
Redlands, County of San Bernardino, State of California, as
shown in Book 7 of Maps, Page 40, records of said County,
said portion to be vacated being located between Cajon Street
and California Street as shown on said Map.
