RESOLUTION OP INTENTTONI TO VACATE PORTIONS OF
A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANNDS DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS -
SECTION ONE: The City Council. of the City of Redlands here-
by elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3,
Chapter 2 of the Street and High�ays Code of the State of Callfornia
and to vacate portions of a street in the manner provid8d therein.
SECTTON TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its inten-
tion to order the vacation of portions of a certain street described
as follows:
Legal Description for Vacating Portions of Stuart Street
All that portion of public right--cif- way adjacent to the
Southerly line of Lot 16, Block C, Central Townsite in
the City of Redlands as per Map recorded in Book 8 of Maps ,
Page 57 thereof, records of San Bernardino County, State
of California, and more particularly described as follows:
That portion of land which lies adjacent to the Southerly
line of Lot 16 and Northerly of the line described in
Document No. 526 in Book 7217, Page 69, of records in. San
Bernardino County, State of California.
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the
vacation of the portions of the certain street described herein
is required by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare.
SECTION FOURw A map setting the particulars of the proposed
street vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department
of Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested
in or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and
date and place of Public Hearing on the above described street
closing at 7: 00 P,M, on the 15th day of July, 1969 in the regular
meeting place of the City Council., Redlands, California.
SECTION SIX: Within fifteen dabs after its passage., this
resolution shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts , a news-
paper of general circulation published and ci' rculated in the City
of Redlands, California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED POND APPROVED this 17th day of rune, 1969.
