RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION
OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does resolve as fol-
lows :
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter
2, of the Street and Highways Code of the State of California and to
vacate a portion of a street in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO : The City Council does hereby declare its intention
to order the vacation of a portion of a certain street described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vaca-
tion of the portion of a certain street described above is required by
public interest, convenience, safety and welfare .
SECTION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed
street vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of
Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested in or
objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date
and place of public hearing on the street closing at 7:00 P.M. on the
21st day of June, 1977, in the regular meeting place of the City
Council, Redlands, California.
SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this resolu-
tion shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of
general circulation published and circulated in the City of Redlands,
California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 7th day of June, 1977.

EXHIBIT "A
The northerly 3 .00 feet of Sunset Drive in the City of Redlands,
County of San Bernardino, State of California, described as follows :
COMMENCING at a marked manhole at the centerline intersections of
Franklin Avenue and Hilton Avenue - Sunset Drive as shown on the map
of Tract No. 6294 recorded in Book 84 of Maps, pages 78 and 79,
records of said County; thence along the centerline of Sunset Drive
north 89056 ' 52" east as shown on the map of Tract No. 4510 recorded
in Book 75 of Maps, page 15, records of said County, a distance of
540 .61 feet; thence at right angles north 0'03 '08" west 32 .00 feet
to the point of BEGINNING; thence from said point of beginning
continuing north 000310811 west 3 .00 feet to a point on the northerly
right-of-way line of the aforesaid Sunset Drive; thence along said
right-of-way line south 89"56 ' 52" west 520. 74 feet to its intersection
with the northerly right-of-way of the aforesaid Franklin Avenue;
thence along the prolongation of last said right-of-way line south
30053 ' 35" east 3 .49 feet; thence north 8956 ' 52" east 518.95 feet to
the point of BEGINNING.
