RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE
CITY OF REDLANDS ST. VACATION NO. 101
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does resolve as follows:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects
to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 2, of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate a
portion of a certain street in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its intention to
order the vacation of a portion of Sunset Drive as described in Exhibit
"A" attached.
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that a portion of
said street excess right-of-way; therefore the vacation of a portion of
said street as described in Exhibit "A" may be required by public
interest, convenience, safety and welfare.
SECTION FOUR: The map setting the particulars of the proposed
street vacation shall be on file in the office of the Planning and
Community Development and available for inspection by persons interested
in or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time, date and
place of a public hearing on the street closing at 7 : 00 P.M. , on the 18th
day of February 1992 , in the regular meeting place of the City Council,
Redlands, California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 4th day of February, 1992 .

That portion of Sunset Drive (formerly called Cliff Avenue)
lying Southerly and Westerly of the following described line:
COMMENCING at the intersection of the centerline of Sunset
Drive with the North line of the Northeast 1/4 of the
Southwest 1/4 of Section 3 , Township 2 South, Range 3 West,
SAN BERNARDINO MERIDIAN, in the City of Redlands,
County of San Bernardino, State of California, according to
Government Survey thence along the North line, North 890 34 "
03" East 388 . 56 feet (recorded North 890 53 " 00" East per
Resolution of Vacation No. 2034 recorded in Book 5142 , Page
536, Official Records of said County) to the center of
Section 3 , Township 2 South, Range 3 West, SAN BERNARDINO
MERIDIAN; thence South 000 13 " 571" East 802 . 60 feet (recorded
South 000 05 " 001" West 802 . 60 feet by said Resolution) ;
thence North 810 36 " 571" West 66 . 02 feet (recorded North 810
18 ' 001" West 66. 02 feet by said Resolution) ; thence South 250
24 " 03" West 26. 14 feet (recorded South 250 43 " 001" West
26 . 14 feet by said Resolution) to a point that was referred
to as the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING in said Resolution of
Vacation No. 2034 , recorded in Book 5142 , Page 536 , Official
Records of said County; thence South 810 36 " 57" East along
the line described by said Resolution (recorded as South 810
18 " 00 East by said Resolution) 41. 91 feet to the TRUE POINT
OF BEGINNING of said proposed Southerly and Westerly line of
Sunset Drive; thence North 600 13 " 00" West 94 . 65 feet;
thence North 470 08 " 001" West 27 . 13 feet to a point
hereinafter referred to as Point "A" ; thence North 350 04 "
491" West 22 . 87 feet; thence North 02° 33 " 00" West 1.3 . 00 feet
to a point lying on a curve 32 . 00 feet distant and parallel
with the centerline of Sunset Drive as shown on Parcel Map
4084 , recorded in Parcel Map Book 57, Pages 48 and 49 ,
records of said County and having a radius of 336 . 54 feet;
thence curving to the right along a curve concave to the
Northeast from an initial tangent that bears North 390 31 "
461" West through a central angle of 120 23 " 261" an arc
distance of 72 . 78 feet to an intersection with the Westerly
line of Sunset Drive as established by description recorded
April 19, 1902 by deed recorded in Book 315 of Deeds , Page
507 , Official Records, said point being the Westerly terminus
of said vacating line.
RESERVING unto the City of Redlands a 15 foot wide easement
for storm drain purposes over, under and across that portion
of the vacated right of way of Sunset Drive described as
follows :
BEGINNING at the hereinabove mentioned Point "A"" ; thence
South 460 20 " 441" West 7 . 55 feet; thence North 670 17 " 55"
West 26 . 08 feet to a point on the Westerly line of Sunset
Drive as established by description recorded April 19 , 1902
by deed recorded in Book 315 of Deeds, Page 507 , Official
Records; thence North 150 241 2211 West along the Westerly
line of Sunset Drive 19.07 feet; thence South 670 171 5511
East 28.04 feet to a point on the hereinabove described
vacating line of Sunset Drive, said point being North 350 041
4911 West 15.18 feet from the Point of Beginning; thence South
350 041 49" East 15. 18 feet to the point of beginning.
