Box 3005 � Redlands, CA 92373 RESOLUTION NO. 4847 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FINDING THAT A PORTION OF A CERTAIN INTERSECTION IS UNNECESSARY FOR PRESENT OR PROSPECTIVE STREET PURPOSES AND ORDERING THE VACATION OF SAID PORTION (STREET VACATION NO. 101) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS hereby ordains and resolves as follows: SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands , having elected to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3 , Chapter 2 , of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, and having held a public hearing as provided herein, hereby finds from all evidence submitted that a portion of said intersection described in Exhibit "A" (attached) is unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes and that the public interest and convenience require the closing of a portion of said intersection. The City Council hereby further finds that such vacation is consistent with the City's General Plan. SECTION TWO: The City Council hereby orders the vacation of a portion of said street described in the attached Exhibit "A. " SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vacation of a portion of said intersection as described in the attached Exhibit"A" herein is required by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare. ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 18th day of February, 1992 . RESERVING unto the City of Redlands a 15 foot wide easement for storm drain purposes over, under and across that portion of the vacated right of way of Sunset Drive described as follows : BEGINNING at the hereinabove mentioned Point "A" ; thence South 460 20 ' 44" West 7 . 55 feet; thence North 670 17 ' 55" West 26 . 08 feet to a point on the Westerly line of Sunset Drive as established by description recorded April 19 , 1902 by deed recorded in Book 315 of Deeds, Page 507 , Official Records; thence North 150 241 2211 West along the Westerly line of Sunset Drive 19.07 feet; thence South 670 171 55" East 28.04 feet to a point on the hereinabove described vacating line of Sunset Drive, said point being North 350 041 4911 West 15.18 feet from the Point of Beginning; thence South 350 041 49" East 15. 18 feet to the point of beginning.
