RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PORTIONS
OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does resolve as fol-
lows:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3 , Chap-
ter 2, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California
and to vacate portions of a street in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declares its inten-
tion to order the vacation of portions of Sunset Drive described in
the attached Exhibits "A" and "B. "
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that portions
of Sunset Drive are excess right-of-way as a result of the adoption
of Precise Street Plan No . 17; therefore, the vacation of portions
of Sunset Drive described above may be required by public interest,
convenience, safety and welfare.
SECTION FOUR: The map setting the particulars of the proposed
street vacation shall be on file in the Office of the Department of
Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested in
or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date
and place of Public Hearing on the street closing at 7: 00 P .M. on
the 16th day of August, 1983, in the regular meeting place of the
City Council, Redlands, California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 9th day of duly, 1983 .

EXHIBIT "A"
That portion of Sunset Drive Easterly an Northerly of the following
described line as shown on Parcel Map 4229 recorded in the office of
the County Recorder, County of San Bernardino, State of California:
Beginning at the northwest corner of Parcel No . 1 of Parcel Map
No 3273 as recorded in Book 34 of Parcel Maps , Page 96-100 in said
County and State said corner also shown on said Parcel Map 4229 ;
thence North 00100122" West, 73 . 53 feet to the True Point of Beginning;
thence North 60631 ' 11" West, 19. 81 feet to the beginning of tangent curve
concave southwesterly and having a radius of 682 .00 feet; thence
northwesterly along said curve through a central angle of 126 32 ' 021'
an arc distance of 149 .19 feet; thence North 731 02 ' 36" West, 158 .85
feet to the beginning of a tangent concave northeasterly and having
a radius of 13 .00 feet; thence northwesterly along said curve through
a central angle of 906 00 ' 00" an arc distance of 20 .42 to the
beginning of a reverse curve concave easterly and having a radius of
180 .00 feet; thence northerly along said curve through a central
angle of 230 07 ' 01" an arc distance of 72 .62 feet to a point of
tangency; thence North 66 10 " 57" West to the intersection with the
northeasterly right-of--way line of Sunset Drive, said intersection
being the terminus of said line .

Book 42 of Parcel Maps , Page 84 in the office of the County Recorder,
County of San Bernardino, State of California described as follows:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the Westerly boundary line of said
Parcel Map 4229 with the Southerly right-of-way lane of Sunset Drive;
thence South 830 58 ' 25" West, 66 .74 feet to a point on a curve, said
point having a radial which bears South 161 56 ' 24" West, said curve
being concave southwesterly and having a radius of 397.00 feet;
thence northwesterly along said curve through a central angle of 7°
22 ' 10" , an arc distance of 51 .06 feet to a point of reverse curve
concave northeasterly and having a radius of 13.00 feet; thence
westerly and northerly along said curve through a central angle of
74° 24 ' 11 " an arc distance of 16 .88 feet; thence North 06° O1 ' 35"
West, 33 .70 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave north-
easterly having a radius of 13.00 feet; thence southerly and easterly
along said curve through a central angle of 90° 00 ' 00" an arc
