CLOSING OF A PORTION OF ,SYLVAN BOULEVARD
A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Redlands, declaring intention to
close, for purpose of street realignment, a portion of SYLVAN BOULEVARD lying
easterly of Judson Street and adjacent to Tract No. 4327, University Manor, in
the City of Redlands, as shown on map of said tract as recorded in Book 55 of Flaps,
Page 66 thereof, Official Records of San Bernardino County, State of California,
and further described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Southwesterly corner of Lot 24, of said Tract
No. 1327, University Manor;
thence along the Southerly line of Lot 33 of said Tract No. 4327,
South 700 37145" West 82.99 feet to the beginning of a 20 foot radius
curve;
thence South 190 22115" East 1.17 feet;
thence North 760 11145" East 110.93 feet;
thence North 800 13145" East 60.87 feet.-

eet;thence North 00 03145" East 1.!a0 feet to the beginning of a
20 foot radius curve in the South line of aforesaid Lot 24;
thence along the South line of said Lot, North 890 56,15" West
61.98 feet to an angle point therein; and
thence South 700 37145" Fest 29.39 feet to the point of beginning.
WHEREAS in a petition to the City Council presented by agent of the owners and/or
developers of said Tract No. 4327, the above described portion of SYLVAN BOULEVARD
is requested to be closed;
WHEREAS the City Council has become familiar with the reasons and conditions
for the proposed closing of the said portion of SYLVAN BOULEVARD and determines
that authority to vacate the said portion of SYLVAN BOULEVARD is established under
the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941 of the State of California;
'WHffLEAS the petitioner has agreed to pay all costs indident to the closing; of
said portion of SYLVANN BOULEVARD;
TFM?EFORE the City Council hereby fixes the time and date and place of Public
Hearing of all matters concerning the above described proposed street closing,
and the time at which any person or agent should present any objection to the
aforesaid closing, at 7:30 P.M. on the 15th dray of November, 1955, in the regu-
lar meeting place of the City Council in the City Hall, ikedlands, California.
THE CITY COUNCIL furthermore directs the Street Superintendent to cause notice of
the proposed closing hereof to be published in five consecutive issues of the Redlands
Daily Facts, and that not less than six copies of such notice be caused to be posted
by his within the immediate vicinity and in the neighborhood of the street herein
proposed to be closed.
