CLOSRIG A PORTION OF TINNIESSES STRM
A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Redlands, declaring intention to
close, for purposes of street realignment, a portion of TENNESSEE STREET lying
northwesterly of Brookside Avenue and adjacent to Tract No. 4811: Redlands Park Estate�,
in the City of Redlands., as shown an map of said tract as recorded in Book 5 of Maps,
Page 6 thereof, and Book 6 of Maps, Page 19 thereof, Official Records of San Ber-
nardino County, State of California., and further described as follow-s.-
Parcel 1 21 str4): BEGINNING at the intersection of the Northwesterly
=e o 100 foot wide Brookside Avenue with the Northeasterly line of 80
foot wide Tennessee Street; thence along the Southwesterly extension of
said line of Brookside Avenue., South 5602OtWest 8.00 feet; thence along
a line parallel with and distant 8.00 feet Southwesterly from aforesaid
Northeasterly line of Tennessee Street, North 33040'West 362.91 feet to
the beginning of a curve, concave to the Northeast and whose radius is
198.00 feet; thence along said curve, Northerly, 56.48 feet and through
a central angle of 16020134" to a point on the aforesaid Northeasterly
line of Tennessee Street; thence along said line South 33040'East 418.61
feet to the point of beginning*
Parcel 2 (81 strip) : C010MCING at the intersection of the Northwesterly
T:—Lne of 100 foot wide Brookside Avenue with the Northeasterly line of 80
foot wide Tennessee Street; thence along said line of Tennessee Street.,
North 33040tWest 419,03 feet to an angle point therein; and thence North
0045' est 0,42 feet to the true point of beginning; thence from the true
point of BEGINNING, continuing along the Easterly line of Tennessee Street
North 0045twest 687.47 feet; thence South 89015"West 8.00 feet; thence
parallel with and distant 8.00 feet Westerly of said Easterly line of
Tennessee Street., South OOUi 'East 631.77 feet to the beginning of a curve,
concave to the Northeast and whose radius is 198.00 feet; thence along
said curve, Southerly 56#48 feet and through a central angle of 16020134"
to the true point of beginning.
WkMIEAS in a petition to the City Council presented by agent of the ovmers and/or
developers of said Tract No. 4811., the abrove described portion of T= .EE STREET
is required to be closed;
UIMZEAS the City Council has become familiar with the reasons and conditions for the
proposed closing of the said portion of said TMIESSEE STRI�ET and determines that
authority to vacate the said portion of TENNESSEE STREET is established under the
provisions of the Street Vacation Act of Ighl of the State of California;
IHFIIMTKAS the City Council has required by action of April 19,, 1955, the petitioner
pay all costs incident to the closing of said portion of TENNESSEE STREETI
ThMIEFORE the City Council hereby fixes the time and date and place of Public Hearing
of all matters concerning the above described proposed street closing., and the time
at which any person or agent should present any objection to the aforesaid closing.,
at 7:30 P.M. on the 6th day of December, 1955, in the regular meeting place of the
City Council in the City Hall,, Redlands., California,
THE CITY COUNCIL furthermore directs the Street Superintendent to cause notice of the
proposed closing hereof to be published in five consecutive issues of the Redlands
Daily Facts., and that not less than six copies of such notice be caused to be posted
by hist -within the immediate vicinity and in the neighborhood of the street herein
proposed to be closed.
