RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF
A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects
to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 2, of the
Street and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate a por-
tion of a street in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its intention to
order the vacation of a portion of a certain street described as follows:
All that portion of Lot 5, Section 4, T2S, R3W, S.B.B . & M. in the
City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, as shown on Book 9 of
Maps, Page 27 thereof, records of said County, and described in
whole as follows:
Said parcel being northerly and westerly of the below described line,
said line being a northerly and westerly boundary of a parcel deeded
to the City of Redlands by Dr. I . H. Crittenden and Jean L. Crittenden,
husband and wife, deed recorded in Book 6632, Page 582, Official
Records of the said County.
Commencing at the centerline intersection of �erracina Boulevard and
north line of s$id Section 4, thence north 24 59 ' west 50.42 feet,
thence south 65 01 ' west 35 feet to the beginning of a curve concave
northerly having a radius of 176 .00 feet and the beginning of the
said line.
Thence southerly and easterly along the said curvS through a central
angle of 590 47 ' 20" 183.66 feet, thence souk 84 46 ' 20" east
15 .06 feet to the beginning of a curve concave southwesterly having
a radius of 23 feet, thence easterlg and southerly along the said
curve through a central angle of 90 00 ' 00" 36. 13 feet, thence con-
tinuing along the tangent to the said curve south 50 13 ' 40" west
26. 32 feet to the beginning of a curve concave northwesterly having
a radius of 80 feet, 8hence southerly along the said curve through
a central angle of 51 05 ' 20" 71. 33 feet, thence along the tangent
to the said curve south 560 19 ' west 134. 38 feet to the beginning of
curve concave southeasterly having a radius of 202.00 feet, thence
westerly and southerly along the said curve through a central angle
of 280 00 ' 00" an arc distance of 98. 72 feet to a point on said
curve, thence north 230 41 ' west 20 feet, thence south 560 19' west
100 + feet to a point on the east line of Lot 6 and the terminus of
the said line.
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vacation
of the portion of the certain street described herein is required by
public interest, convenience, safety and welfare.
SECTION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed street
vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of Public Works
Resolution No. 2556

and available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to
the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and
place of Public Hearing on the above-described street closing at 7 :00
P.M. on the lst day of November, 1966 in the regular meeting
place of the City Council, Redlands, California.
SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this resolu-
tion shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of
general circulation published and circulated in the City of Redlands,
California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 4th day of October, 1966 .
