RESOLUTION OF INTENTION Td VACATE ATORTION OF A CERTAIN
STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF-THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES' RESOLVE' AS FOLLOWS ,-
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
elects to- proaeed -umdex- the provisions of Division 9 , Part 3,. Chapter
2 of the- -Street and--Highway-s Code of the- State-. of GwItfornia and to
vacate a p-ortlon--o-f...a.. -s-treet In- the_ manner p-rovid'ed -thevei-n.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its intention
to order- th-evacation of a- portion- of a c-ertain street - described as
follows :
Beginning at the most We-sterly corner of Lot 37 , Tract No. 6047 ,
Fern Grov-e, in the City of Redlands , County of San Bernardino,
State of% Ca:lifornia, as per plat- recorded in Book"76 ' af Maps ,
page 70, records- of said County-, said corner lies on, a line which-
is -parallel, with and 32 feet Southeasterlyofthe center line of
Fe,rn , Av,enue, thence along the Southwesterly line of said Lot 37 ,
South ->2701.9`26- East --18.12 feet to a- pointon the Southeasterly
right of ,way line of 100 foot wide Fern Avenue-; thence along
said line, South 36019 ' West 435. 00 feet ; thence North 330411
West 18.00 feet ; thence along a line which is parallel with and
32 feet Southeasterly of said center line of Fern Avenue, North
56 19 , East 437.01 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION THREE : The. City Council hereby determines that the
vacation of the certain street described herein is required by public
interest , convenience , safety and welfare .
SECTION FOUR : A map setting the particulars of the proposed
street vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of
Public Works and available for inspection' by persons -interested in or
objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE : The City_ Council hereby fixes the time and date

1 :00 P.M. on the fifth day of May 1964 in- the regul-ar- meeting place
SECTION SIX .- Within fifteen days 'a-ftti, it-a' passage, this reso-
lution shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts a, newspaprer of
general circulation published and circulated in the City of Redlands ,
California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this day of 1964.
