RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE UTILITY EASEMENTS AS
RETAINED IN SECTION THREE OF RESOLUTION NO. 4272
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does resolve as
follows:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands
hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9,
Part 3, Chapter 2, of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State of California and to vacate a portion of a certain
alley in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its
intention to order the vacation of utility easements within a
15 foot alley lying easterly of and contiguous to Lot 6, as
shown on the map of the Best Subdivision of Block "D" of
Balcom and Sibley ' s addition to Redlands , as per plat
recorded in Book 13 of Maps, Page 36 Official Records of the
County of San Bernardino, State of California.
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that
the utility easements are no longer necessary; therefore, the
vacation of said easements are not required by public
interest, convenience, safety and welfare.
SECTION FOUR: The City Council hereby fixes the time
and date and place of Public Hearings on vacating utility
easements at 7 : 00 P. M. on the January 19 , 1988 , in the
regular meeting place of the City Council , Redlands ,
California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 5th day of January,
1988.
