HomeMy WebLinkAbout3189_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 3189 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS : SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3 , Chapter 2, of the Street and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate a portion of a street in the manner, provided therein. SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its intention to order the vacation of a portion of a certain street described as follows : That portion of an alley as shown on map of Wood Lawn Tract as recorded in Book 15 of Maps , Page 56 in the office of the County Recorder, County of San Bernardino, State of California, described as follows : Beginning at the intersection of the South line of Lot 10 as shown on said Tract, with the West line of said alley; thence Northerly along said West line to its intersection with the Southwest line of Interstate Highway 10 (as it now exists) ; thence Southeasterly along said Southwest line to its intersection with the East line of said alley; thence Southerly along said East line to its inter- section with the South line of Lot 11) as shown on said Tract; thence Westerly along the Westerly prolongation of said South line to the Point of Beginning. SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vacation of the portion of the certain street described herein is required by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare. SECTION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed street vacation shall be on file in the office of the Public Works Depart- ment and available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation, SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and place of Public Hearing on the above-described street closing at 7:00 P.M. on the 15th day of _glLly , 1975 in the regular meeting place of the City Council, Redlands , California. SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this resolution shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in the.
