RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PORTIONS OF
A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS :
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3 , Chapter
2 of the Street and Highways Code of the State of California and to
vacate a portion of a street in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO : The City Council does hereby declare its inten-
tion to order the vacation of a portion of a certain street described
as follows :
That portion of Lots 10 and 11 , Woodlawn Tract , in the
City of Redlands , recorded in Book 15 of Maps , Page 56
thereof, records of San Bernardino County, State of
California lying within the right-of-way of Sylvan
Boulevard 44 feet easterly of centerline of Church
Street and westerly of Redlands Freeway right-of-way,
said Freeway also being known as State Route 99 and
Interstate Route 10, as the said right-of-way is re-
corded in Book 5182 Official Records , Page 136 thereof,
Records of San Bernardino County, State of California,
SECTION THREE : The City Council hereby determines that the
vacation of the portion of the certain street described herein is
required by public interest , convenience , safety and welfare .
SECTION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed
street vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of
Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested in
or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date
and place of Public Hearing on the above described street closing at
7 :00 P.M. on the1s,t day of February. 1966 in the regular meet-
ing place of the City Council, Redlands, California .
SECTION STC: Within fifteen days after its passage, this
resolution shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a news-
paper of general circulation published and circulated in the City of
Redlands , California.
