HomeMy WebLinkAbout3207_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 3207 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A CERTAIN ALLEY IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS : SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 2, of the Street and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate a portion of an alley in the manner provided therein. SECTION TWO : The City Council does hereby declare its intention to order the vacation of a portion of a certain alley described as follows : Legal Description for Street Vacation #64 That portion of an alley between a line parallel with and 5.00 feet East of the East right-of-way line of Seventh Street (measured at right angles) and a line parallel with and 5.00 feet West of the West right- of-way line of Eighth Street (measured at right angles) as shown in Block 15 of Redlands Town Plat, recorded in Book 5 of Maps, Page 10, in the office of the County Recorder, County of San Bernardino, State of California. SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vaca- tion of the portion of the certain alley described herein is required by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare. SECTION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed alley vacation shall be on file in the office of the Public Works Department and available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and place of Public Hearing on the above-described alley closing at 7:00 P.M. on the -7th day of October, 1975 in the regular meeting place of the City Council, Redlands, California. SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this resolu- tion shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in the City of Redlands, California.
