A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE AN ALLEY BETWEEN TRIBUNE STREET AND POST
STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS-.
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to
proceed under the provisions of Division 99 Part 3., Chapter 2 of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate an alley in the
manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its intention to order
the vacation of an alley between Tribune Street and Past Street described as
follows-
All of that 10 foot wide alley lying northerly of
Lots 22 and 23 of Casa Loma Addition as recorded
as recorded in Book 15, Page 39 records of San
Bernardino County and extending from the easterly line
of 57.58 foot wide Tribune Street to the westerly
line of 25 foot wide Post Street as shown on said
map,
SECTION THREE- The City Council hereby determines that the vacation of
the alley described herein is required by public interest., convenience., safety
and welfare,
SECTION FOUR.- A map setting the particulars of the proposed alley vacation
shall be or, file in the office of the Department of Public Works and available
for inspection by persons interested in or obyectirg to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE- The City Council, hereby fixes the time and date and place
of Public Hearing on the above described alley closing at 7-00 P.M. on the
6th day of August., 1963, in the regular meeting place of the City Council in
the Redlands Safety Building, 21.2 Brookside Avenue., Redlands,, California.
SECTION SIR- Within fifteen days after its passage this resolution shall
be published in the Redlands Daily Facts., a newspaper of general circulation
published and circulated in the City of Redlands, California.
