RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION
OF A CERTAIN ALLEY IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does hereby resolve as
follows : -,
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9 , ]Part 3 , Chapter
2, of the Street and Highways Code of the State of California and to
vacate a portion of an alley in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its intention
to order the vacation of a portion of an alley described as follows :
That portion of a 15-foot wide alley lying between Lots 75
and 76 of the Moore and Woodworth- Igoe -,side Subdivisicn as
per plat recorded in Book 23 of Maps, Page 19, Records of
San Bernardino County, State of California.
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vaca-
tion of the portion of the alley described above is required by public
interest, convenience, safety and welfare.
SECTION FOUR: The map setting the particulars of this proposed
alley vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of
Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested in
or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date
and place of Public Hearing on the alley closing at 7 : 00 P .M. on the
1st day of December, 1981, in the regular meeting place of the City
Council, Redlands, California.
SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this reso-
lution shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts , a newspaper
of general circulation published and circulated in the City of
Redlands, California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 17th day of November, 1981 .
