RESOLUTION No. 3568
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A CERTAIN
ALLEY IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects
to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 2, of the
Street and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate a cer-
tain alley in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its intention to
order the vacation of an alley described as follows :
All that portion of a 15.00 foot alley running northeasterly as
shown on Tract 1882 Carter Terrace Tract recorded in Book 27 of
Maps, Page 10 in the office of the County Recorder, County of
San Bernardino, State of California, described as follows :
Said Alley lying between the southeasterly prolongation of the
southwesterly line of Lot 2 of said Tract 1.882 on its northeast-
erly terminus and the northwesterly prolongation of the south-
westerly line of Lot 12 of said Tract 1882 last said southwest-
erly line also being the northeasterly right-of-way line of said
alley on its southwesterly terminus.
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vaca-
tion of that certain alley described above is required by public inter-
est, convenience, safety and welfare.
SECTION FOUR: The map setting the particulars of the proposed alley
vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of Public Works
and available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to the
proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and
place of Public Hearing on the alley closing at 7:00 P.M. on the 3rd day
of April, 1979, in the regular meeting place of the City Council, City of
Redlands, California.
SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this resolution
shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general
circulation published and circulated in the City of Redlands, California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 20th day of March 1979.
