RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A
CERTAIN STREET AND ALLEY IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter
2, of the Street and Highways Code of the State of California and to
vacate portions of a street and alley in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO . The City Council does hereby declare its intention
to order the vacation of portions of a certain street and alley des-
cribed in Exhibit A attached hereto.
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vaca-
tion of the portions of a certain street and alley described in Ex-
hibit A is required by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare.
SECTION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed
street and alley vacation shall be on file in the office of the Depart-
ment of Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested
in or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date
and place of Public Hearing on the street and alley closing at 7 :00 P.M.
on the 5th day of April, 1977, in the regular meeting place of the City
Council, Redlands, California.
SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this resolu-
tion shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts , a newspaper of
general circulation published and circulated in the City of Redlands,
California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 15th day of March, 1977 .

EXHIBIT A
That portion of an Alley and San Jacinto Street as shown
on Tract No. 2090, Cook 's 3rd addition as recorded in
Book 30 of Maps, Page 33 in the office of the County
Recorder, County of San Bernardino, State of California,
described as follows :
Beginning at the most westerly corner of Lot 9 as shown
on said Tract: thence North 32'39'00" West, 30 .00 feet to
the northwesterly boundary line of said Tract; thence
North 56019' 36" East along last said .line 304.00 feet to
the northeasterly right--of-way line of said San Jacinto
Street, thence South 33'39 '04" East along last said line
116.94 feet to a point on a curve, said point having a
radial which bears South 59001 '49" East, said curve being
concave easterly and having a radius of 70 .00 feet; thence
southwesterly along said carve through a central angle of
321.8' 52" an arc distance of 39.48 feet to the intersection
with the southwesterly right-of-way Line of said San Jacinto
Street; thence North 33039'04" Nest along last said line to
the most northerly corner of said Lot 9; thence along the
northwesterly line of said Lot. 9, 270 feet to the Point of
Beginning.
