RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PORTIONS
OF CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does hereby resolve
as follows :
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3 , Chap-
ter 2, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California
and to vacate portions of streets in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its inten-
tion to order the vacation of portions of Sunset Drive and Valley
View Drive described in the attached Exhibit "A. "
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the
vacation of portions of Sunset Drive and Valley View Drive
described above are required by public interest, convenience ,
safety and welfare.
SECTION FOUR: The map setting the particulars of the proposed
street vacations shall be on file in the office of the Department
of Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested
in or objecting to the proposed vacations.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date
and place of public hearing on the street closings at 7 : 00 P.M. on
the 21st day of September, 1982 , in the regular meeting place of
the City Council , Redlands, California.
SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this
resolution shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts , news-
paper of general circulation published and circulated in the City
of Redlands, California .
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 7th day of September, 1982 .

EXHTBIT "A"
That portion of Sunset Drive and Valley view Drive as described
in Declaration of Dedication recorded in Book 9586 , Page 1656 of
Official Records of the County of San Bernardino, State of Cali-
fornia, described as follows :
5. 50 feet Northerly and Westerly and adjacent to the following
described line:
Beginning at the common lot corner of Lots 22 ,
23 , and 25 of Map of Sunset Heights recorded in Book 15 of Maps,
Pages 51-52 in the office of the County recorder of said County
and State; thence South 66° 15 ' 49" West along the Southeasterly
line of said Lot 23 , 37. 07 feet to the True Point of Beginning,
said True Point. of Beginning also being the intersection of a
non--tangent curve concave to the Southwest and having a radius
of 618 . 00 feet; thence Northwesterly along the arc of said curve
whose initial tangent bears North 660 55 ' 15" West, through a
central angle of 61 08 ' 21 66. 22 feet to a point of tangency~
thence North 730 03 ' 36" West, 68 . 26 feet to the beginning of a
tangent curve concave Southeasterly and having a radius of 13 . 00
feet; thence along last said curve through a central angle of
96° 25 ' 45" an arc distance of 21. 88 feet; thence South 100 30 '
39" West, 106. 59 feet to the intersection of the Southeasterly
line of said Lot 23 to a point of terminus of said line.
