HomeMy WebLinkAbout5257 no action_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 5257 A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A CERTAIN ALLEY IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS STREET VACATION NO. 113 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does resolve as follows: SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 2, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate a portion of a certain alley in the manner provided therein. SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its intention to order the vacation of a portion of an alley as described in Exhibit "A" attached. SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that a portion of said alley is excess right-of-way; therefore the vacation of a portion of said alley as described in Exhibit "A" may be required by public interest, convenience, safety or welfare, if such street portion is not required for present or prospective public purposes. SECTION FOUR: The map setting the particulars of the proposed alley vacation shall be on file in the Department of Planning and Community Development, Civic Center, 35 Cajon Street, Suite 20, Redlands, California, and available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time, date and place of the public hearing on the alley vacation at 7:00 P.M. on the day of 1996, in the Council Chambers, Civic Center, 35 Cajon Street, Redlands, California.
