RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS IN C014NECTION WITH THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE
NO. 921 OF THE CITY OF REDLANDSt CALIFORNIA
The City Council of the City of Redlands does resolve as follows3
WHEREAS, the City Council of Redlands has assumed control of the design
and improvement of land subdivisions of property, as such power is vested in the
City by the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act of the State of California,
Division 4, Part 2, Business and Profession Code of the State of Californias and
amendments theretog and whereas Ordinance No. 921, the Subdivision Ordinance of
the City of Redlands forbids any subdivider, person, firm, corporation, partner-
ship or association to sell or offer to sell, or lease, any lands within a
subdivision, or property split, until the subdivider, person, firmg corporationv
partnership or association shall have first conformed to the requirements of said
Subdivision Map Act and the provisions of this ordinance.
SECTION ONE; Each subdivider, persong firm, corporation, partnership
or association shall improve, or agree to improve, as provided in ordinance No.
921, all streets, highways, alleys, ways or easements in the subdivision, pro-
perty split or record of survey, as a condition precedent to acceptance thereof
and approval of the final map. All pipe lines, electrical conduit and other
underground facilities shall be installed prior to street paving. All utiliti
curbs, gutters and pavement shall be installed on such existing major and 0M

secondary streets and other streets as may be designated by the City Counci'-1I
within sixty (60) days after the issuance of the initial b%k1A"& permit or

all or part of a subdivision. Such improvements shall be installed at linea Surety

and grades and in accordance with the standard specifications approved by theDIV*016a
City Council. Failure to comply with the above requirements shall result in
the cessation of all building inspections.
