HomeMy WebLinkAbout8764RESOLUTION NO. 8764 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING CONCEPT PLAN NO. 1 WHEREAS, the application for Amendment No. 8 to Concept Plan No. 1 ("the application") has been duly filed by Kaiser Foundation Hospitals; and WHEREAS, section EV1.0405 of the East Valley Corridor Specific Plan states that once a Concept Plan has been approved, property owners may seek approval of a "Development Plan" to establish a comprehensive, detailed plan of development, which is particularly appropriate for large-scale and multi -phased developments, as the second stage of the "Planned Development' land use planning process; and WHEREAS, on February 24, 2026, the Planning Commission held a noticed public hearing at which interested persons had an opportunity to testify in support of, or opposition to, the application; and WHEREAS, at the public hearing on February 24, 2026, the Planning Commission considered, heard public comments on, and recommended approval of the application and associated program environmental impact report; and WHEREAS, in accordance with Government Code sections 65453 and 65090, on March 24, 2026, the City gave public notice by mailing to property owners within a 300-foot radius of the property, as well as on March 27, 2026 by advertising in a newspaper of general circulation, of the holding of a public hearing at which the project would be considered; and WHEREAS, in accordance with Government Code section 65090, on April 7, 2026, the City Council held a noticed public hearing at which interested persons had an opportunity to testify in support of, or opposition to, the application. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council hereby amends the text of Concept Plan No. 1 by adding the following paragraph to subsection A of section IV (Implementation): 14 6. Property owners may submit a Development Plan application for any portion or all of a Planning Area within the Concept Plan boundaries, in accordance with the procedures set forth in the East Valley Corridor Specific Plan and any applicable City Council resolutions." Section 2. Custodian of Records.
