This first amendment ("First Amendment") to the agreement for the provision of property and
casualty broker services ("Agreement"), dated 15th day of July, 2025 by and between the City of Redlands,
a municipal corporation and a general law city ("City"), and Alliant Specialty Insurance Services, Inc., a
California corporation ("Consultant"), is made and entered into this 2 t" day of April, 2026.
RECITALS
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City and Consultant to amend their existing Agreement to
extend the term of the Agreement for one additional year in an amount not -to -exceed $67,418; and
NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration in the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged City and Consultant agree as follows:
AGREEMENT
Section 1. Subsection 4.1 of the Agreement, entitled "Article 5 Performance of Services," is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"4.1 The term of this Agreement shall be for a period of one (1) year commencing from the
Effective date of this Agreement and expiring on July 14, 2027."
Section 2. Subsection 5.1 of the Agreement, entitled "Article 5 Payments to Consultant," is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"The compensation for Consultant's perfonnance of the Services shall not exceed the amount of
One Hundred Thirty -Three Thousand Five Hundred Fourteen Dollars ($133,514) for the Services
provided during the Term of the agreement. City shall pay Consultant on a time and materials basis up to
the not -to -exceed amount in accordance with the rates specified in Exhibit "B," titled "Fee Proposal,"
which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference."
Section 3. All other provisions of the Agreement shall remain unchanged by this First
Amendment and in effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this First Amendment, to be effective as of
April 21, 2026.
